Tokyo Narita Airport Toyota rent a car 東京成田機場租車
We decided to rent a car for our Tokyo trip.
I choosed the COROLLA CROSS.
Our flight was at 1:30 p.m., so we had enough time. We ate at Starbucks in the airport.

Our flight was slightly delayed, and we began boarding the airplane at 1:40 p.m.
Finally, we took off, which was so exciting. The first thing we did was enjoy our food.
At about 5:40 p.m., we arrived in Japan at Narita Airport. Everything felt so fresh.
It took us a little time to enter Japan, but everything was okay. Then, we looked for the Toyota Rent-A-Car counter.
We were in Terminal 2. When we exited and entered Japan, the Toyota counter was just on the right-hand side.
We needed to enter our reservation number, and it gave us a ticket so we could take the bus to pick up our car.
When we got the ticket, we needed to wait for the bus at bus stop No. 29.
We were very lucky—we didn’t have to wait too long. After about five minutes, the Toyota bus arrived.
After about 10 to 15 minutes, we arrived at the Toyota Rent-A-Car shop near Narita Airport.
The counter staff were very nice and provided detailed explanations, and we finally got our car.
Since it was about 8 a.m. in Japan, we were very lucky to find a restaurant opposite the store.
Although Taiwan has this restaurant too, we think the food here is better than at Taiwan's Sukiya.
After dinner, we drove our car to the Prince Hotel Shinagawa, which took about an hour.
When I drive in Taiwan, I sit on the left side of the car and drive on the right side of the road, but in Japan, I needed to sit on the right side and drive on the left. I needed to get used to it.
We arrived at the hotel safely and entered our room. The room was not very big, but it was pretty.

I rented a car from January 29 at 19:30 to February 2 at 19:30, for a total of four days.
My car had two damages, and they happened at the same time.
On the second day we stayed in Tokyo, when we went to Tokyo Tower, I saw a parking spot and hurried to park my car. I was careless and hit a taxi's side mirror, and then I accidentally hit the roadside.
Fortunately, it was not too serious.
We stayed in Japan for five nights and six days. Except for the final day, when we needed to go to Narita Airport in the morning, we were able to drive every day.
However, since we picked up the rental car at night and returned it at night as well, we actually only rented it for four full days
On our final night in Japan, we stayed at Narita Nikko Hotel. It was only a 10-minute drive to the airport, and most importantly, it was right next to the Toyota Rent-A-Car shop—just a 3-minute walk away.
On February 2, we went shopping at the Skytree Mall before heading to Narita Nikko Hotel.
Before returning the car, I needed to fill up the gas first.
It cost me 4,748 yen.
When I returned my car, it took me a while to explain how the car accident happened.
Fortunately, I had full insurance, so I didn’t need to pay extra for the car damage.
These days, the total ETC fare was 8,750 yen.
I think that wasn't too expensive. The total cost for renting the car was 61,434 yen. (Included ETC fare)
Finally, it was done, I walked to the hotel.
